Viva las Vegas!

Each time I resolve to write more, it seems like less and less bloggy goodness is created.  There's been a picture of mini-onions in a strainer with no caption or text accompaniment sitting at the top of this blog for over a month.  I suck.

Sidenote: those onions turned out deliciously.  I was going to blog about cooking them, but got too lazy.

It was Garrett's birthday, and his new band Brookhurst played a show.  So, we went to celebrate.

Classy downtown Fremont Street - This stripper appears to have made a mistake

I systematically hunted down the dorkiest, old ladiest slot machines in each casino

Venue was aptly named

Garrett's band rocked out hardcore

And the crowd went wild!

(but seriously, they sounded amazing)

Our cab home didn't show up, so we swallowed shotglasses full of Turkey sandwiches

Finally, those without cars made it back alive to the warm glow of our casino

 

Footballs full of red bull and apple juice were consumed

And I ziplined without wearing shoes!  Thanks, turkey sandwiches and apple juice!
