On The Rox

Last night- Dylan and I went to the Roxy to see Nico Vega and She Wants Revenge with Joe and his coworkers.  It was fun having a VIP wristband again.  I miss that.

Nico Vega was good- interested to hear the album.  They were very psychedelic rockish loud singing cape-wearingish.

Lead Singer lady had a very strong voice, and no pants.  Dylan liked her because her shirt looked like something Princess Leia would wear (also: no pants).  lol, Nerd.

SWR sounded good- but they also sounded exactly like Interpol.  And then Placebo when they played songs from album #2.  After an hour, we were playing a new game called 'sing lyrics from the original song that SWR ripped off to the song currently being played'.

We got to meet lead singer dude in beenie (I think he's named Justin?).  Note my lazy photography- not moving from our VIP table for a better picture. 

Hey- I was comfortable.

This was my favorite part:

seeing a reserved table littered with expensed drinks.  Ah, the good ol' days.

I had lots of fun! 

You can take a girl out of the industry, but you can't take away her Monday nights!
